Mr. Ogburn joined Head Companies in September, 1985, and over the next seven years was responsible for the development, leasing, construction and management of seven shopping centers and one office complex totaling 717,257 square feet. From 1989 to 1995, Mr. Ogburn participated in the development of three 18-hole golf courses involving 1,864 acres of land zoned for 2,270 lots. In 1996, he was assigned development and construction management responsibility for The Beach Club, an 86-acre beachfront development containing four towers with 656 units, a clubhouse, sales office, retail complex and 62 single-family homes. In 2000, he assembled 35 parcels of property known as Beach Club West for the development of 473 condominium units in two towers. In 2001, he coordinated the land acquisition, development and construction management of Indigo, a 177-unit, two-tower condominium complex on Perdido Key, Florida.
